Just wanted to let everyone know I am ok. We evacuated to Houston and are waiting until it's possible to go back to New Orleans. It sounds like it might be a month before we can. Most of the city is underwater right now; and, since the pumps are broken, the water level is rising instead of sinking. Poor New Orleans! I'm sure it'll get back to normal eventually and perhaps even be the better for it.
